Quick answer
Choose the Wild Periwinkle Notebook if you love soft blue florals and want a classic journal for daily planning or reflection. Pick the Keeper of the Bees Notebook in Soft Teal if you prefer a whimsical, gold-foil design and need the flexibility of choosing between dot grid or lined paper.
Design and aesthetic differences
The Wild Periwinkle Notebook features a soft blue cover with delicate white floral illustrations, giving it a vintage-inspired, peaceful look. It's designed for those who enjoy a timeless, nature-themed journal that feels calm and collected.
The Keeper of the Bees Notebook in Soft Teal uses a storybook-like hue with radiant gold-foil honeybee detailing. This gives it a more magical, whimsical feel that stands out on a shelf. The foil adds a subtle shimmer that catches the light, making it a more decorative choice.
Paper type options
One key difference is the available paper types. The Wild Periwinkle Notebook offers Page Style and Size options, but the specific paper type (e.g., dot grid vs. lined) is not specified in the catalog. This means you may need to check the product page for exact paper options before ordering.
The Keeper of the Bees Notebook explicitly offers Size and Paper Type options, giving you the freedom to choose between dot grid, lined, or other formats. This makes it a more flexible choice if you have a strong preference for your page layout.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Wild Periwinkle: Classic floral charm: Its soft blue and white floral design is timeless and understated. However, the paper type options are not fully detailed in the catalog, so you may have limited flexibility if you specifically want dot grid or lined pages. Best if you prioritize a serene, vintage look and are flexible on paper layout.
- Keeper of the Bees: Whimsical gold-foil elegance: The gold-foil honeybee design is eye-catching and magical. You can choose between paper types, including dot grid, which is great for bullet journaling or precise planning. Best if you want a decorative, storybook feel and need control over your page format.
- Price consideration: The Wild Periwinkle Notebook is priced at USD 34.65 (catalog comparison price USD 55.00), while the Keeper of the Bees Notebook is USD 27.06 (catalog comparison price USD 41.00). The Keeper of the Bees is more budget-friendly while still offering a premium look. If price is a factor, the Keeper of the Bees gives you a lower entry point with added paper flexibility.
