The embossed cover is so subtle that I keep running my fingers over the moons and clouds every time I pick it up—it’s like a secret handshake for the night sky. The deep charcoal pages are a nice touch too, and the paper handled my fountain pen without bleeding through.
I was nervous the embossed celestial pattern might be too subtle, but under my desk lamp it catches the light beautifully and the cover has a nice, soft-touch feel. Definitely buying another as a gift.
